Gold or Silver Girl?

Are You a Gold or Silver Girl?

Gold and silver jewelry compliment different undertones and for the longest time I could not decide which I preferred but now I'm here to help everyone else look their best down to the earrings!

When it comes to jewelry and accessories, we all have our go to pieces. Some of us look best in warm gold and others shine is cool silver, but now we are going to dive into why you gravitate toward the one you do with photos, tips, and fun to find your signature shine.

The Gold Girl

You might be a gold girl if:

1) you're drawn to warm tones-beige, rust, ivory, or olive green
2) you have warm undertones- skin glows with peach, yellow, or golden hues
3) you're makeup vibe leans bronzy and sun kissed
4) you love vintage, boho, or Mediterranean inspired aesthetics

Some Gold styling tips include: pairing gold with linen or crisp white outfits for a clean, coastal vibe, mixing gold hoops with a chunky chain, or on vacation with your tan.

My favorites:

As an Amazon affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases, but with prime days coming up I already have a cart full of jewlery I've been into lately. I love to stack different smaller necklaces so I go for paperclip chains which are cute as necklaces and bracelets like this one made in Italy.

The Silver Girl

You might be a silver girl if:

1) You gravitate toward black, gray, or jewel tones (emerald and sapphire)
2) You have cool undertones (pink, red, or blue)
3) You love minimalist, clean lines and contemporay style
4) Your beauty staples include pink lips or icy highlighters.

Some silver styling tips includ stacked rings and layered bangles, silver pops wth dark colors, and mixing it with leather or denim for edgier looks.

A pair of basic hoops can always be dressed up or down, and the creativity can flow through your stack with studs and other sized hoops. I like the way chunky bangles look and this pair has fluidity which I also like.

Can I be both?
Of course! Neutral undertones look great in both and when mixing them it can add depth and flair to your look. When styling both together make sure to choose one dominant and make the other the statement, and keep the outfit itself simple so the jewelry does the talking.
