 What I Would Pack For Vacation

Vacation is the time to visit beaches and explore the fashion trends in new countries. When traveling I value comfort, colors, and customization. Below I have listed all aspects of an outfit including accessories and shoes that are essential in my opinion for many destinations!

I make sure to pack thin sun glasses to spruce up any outfit because I rarely wear them at home and I like to change things up when my environment is changing. Sun glasses, hats, hand held fans, are perfect ways to stay cool and protect from the sun. Statement pieces to pair include necklaces, earrings, bracelets or rings.

Anything coral red stands out in the sun and adds a pop of color. I have a linen dress in this color that I wear as a cover up or even a dress, and i've already worn is 5-6 times this summer. Coral red is hot this summer because it's the perfect opposite from the red seen at Christmas as it's warm and energetic which embodies vacation vibes.

A cute beach cover up is a necessity when visisting anywhere coastal because sometimes leaving the beach/pool in your swim wear does not feel right, even if you don't have to walk or travel far. I love the long cover ups I've been seeing recently because I always used to wear sarong wraps. Because of the light weight material of them, you dont need to stray away from a black cover up if your in the sun which is a huge plus as someone who wears a lot of black and neutrals.

Vacation wear is meant to elevate the freedom you're feeling which is why white is such a popular beach color. It will not attract too much heat and will also make you look like you've gotten a lot of sun by accentuating the yellow in your skin tone. In terms of style white looks crisp and fresh an photographs beautifully, especially in colorful settings, and gives a timeless vacation vibe.

More often than not, I've seriously increased my steps while traveling which makes comfortable shoes one of the top items I recommend for traveling. There are a ton of sandals which extra cushioning that would be approriate, or you can always stick with the basic sneakers! I don't recommend wedges or other platform shoes (from experience) because they don't provide comfort, which should not be sacrificed. This being said you might want to pack a pair for quick walks to dinner reservations.

When going to the beach my favorite bags are these straw bags because they are both stylish and practial. They are light weight and roomy but not bulky to hold beach towels, sunblock, books, and snacks. The straw wont trap any moisture and they simply look natural by the ocean or pool! Once again they can be dressed up or down and go with everything.

Extras that I rarely go on vacation without would be spf, a portable charger if I plan on doing a lot of walking, and any apps that I see people recommending online. I hope these tips are helpful as you plan your vacation outfits!
